During their heyday, the majority of the Mafioso didn't go to prison because of racketeering and murder, if they were not murdered themselves, they were taken down for tax evasion.
Tax evasion is the governments weapon of choice when dealing with gangsters. The Mobs duplicitous dealings are often referred to as organized crime. However, what major corporations are more organized and set up for crime (theft and embezzlement) than the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church?
This group of nefarious men and women prey on the gullible masses by using the threat of an apocryphal deity, coupled with hyperbole such as, “God-fearing,” “Saved,” “Fear of God,” “Believers,” and “turning the other cheek” (in layman’s terms, Matthew 5:39 means, ‘acquiescing to their pious demands without question or inquiry’). Those who don’t fall for their chicanery are labeled as heretics, blasphemers, pagans, apostates, atheist, and usually ostracized.
By the way, if you’re ever deemed a heretic by the church and don’t repent, you’re going straight to Hell. I suppose this would be frightening if Hell were a real place.
Racketeering is defined as, “the practice of conducting or engaging in a racket; such as extortion; a pattern of illegal activity carried out as part of an enterprise that is owned or controlled by those who are engaged in the illegal activity.”
The definition of extortion is, "the crime of obtaining money [tithes and offerings] or some other thing of value by the abuse of one's office or authority."

Most members of the clergy actively market guilt, sin, and fear, for profit. Worshipers are encouraged to prepay for sins not yet committed, and receive a pardon ahead of time. If you don't pay, if you're not a believer, the penalty is eternal damnation.

Mark 16:16, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
I was baptized as a child, about 6 years old, it’s nothing more than an archaic ritual, no more, no less. The guy who baptized me, turned out to be a pedophile. He didn’t molest me or my brother, but he sexually abused over 100 children (if not more) in his 20-year tenure at the Southern Baptist church I attended in Dallas, TX.
Religion is afforded a luxury that Joseph Bonanno and Capone did not have. Therefore, tax evasion is taken off the table. Sacrosanct shysters have a hereditary get-out-of-jail-free-card because they pay no taxes. Organizations and individuals alike, must pay taxes, but not religion. How convenient is that?
Religion and War are the cancers of our planet. There is a cure that is based on love and uniting as one. Organized Religion will ensure that we never stand united, because a homogeneous human connection is counter-productive to evil.
On the contrary, Love, has no division and cannot be compartmentalized. Unconditional love and respect for our fellow earth travelers; there is no black and white, there is no Christian and Muslim, there are no borders.
People often ask me, "why do you always write about this stuff?" "Why are you so critical of religion?" "You're not a Christian and that's OK, so why bother?"
The two most important people in my life are my daughter and son. I want them to, one day, reside in a world free from the man-made skulduggery that engulfs our world. It's probably not going to happen in their lifetimes but maybe my grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, will live in a world free of Religion, War, and Sinister Politics.
Do you not want this for your children; for your future generations? Are you so caught-up in your own world, your own self, your immediate family, that you refuse to see the bigger picture?
I'm a huge critic of religion because I care. I fell for the story as a child, just as I bought the story of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. As I got a little older, a little wiser, I began to understand that if I believed a man walked on water, 2000 years ago, then I may as well continue to believe that a fat white man was squeezing down chimneys across the globe in one night.
There are no words to describe the global deceit and trickery of the Roman Catholic Church (your Church, regardless of the denomination is a subsidiary of the Roman Catholic Church because they sell the exact same product). They even went so far as to create their very own villain - Satan - to blame everything on; all the problems contributed to society are Beelzebub’s fault. He did it.
Think rationally for a moment. Put your objectivity cap on for a few seconds. The organization that created the story of Satan, truth be told, were metaphorically, symbolically, preaching, teaching and writing about themselves.

We have let our children down. When I say "our children," I'm speaking on an international scale. As adults, we are responsible and because of our imbecilic religious superstitions, rituals, and ignorance, we are doing a tremendous disservice to future generations.
People ask me why I write about this stuff, primarily because it makes them uncomfortable. Well, that’s my goal: to leave a bad taste in your psyche. You feel this way because you know, regarding your spiritual beliefs, there’s a huge fly in the ointment. Silence is betrayal and your refusal to make a positive difference is eating away at your subconscious. When my articles boldly bring this fact to your attention, it evokes a disquieting sensation in the depths of your soul.
Be a positive light in the world instead of one of the billions of lost sheep who follow and adhere to primitive religious malarkey. Gullible, self-centered, arrogant, fundamentalist thinkers are a detriment to society.
