Shallow Crossing

Crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge (named for a grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan) is a nice symbolic gesture but its overall relevance to the plight of Black America today is hollow, to say the least. The value of a black life is worth about the same as it was 50 years ago. This is why unarmed black men are gunned down in the streets by police officers (and even pseudo security guards) and no one gives a damn.

The reason why this doesn't happen to white men on the scale that its occurring with black men - and it's not even close - is because Caucasian Americans who are confronted by police, even if they don't immediately surrender, are afforded the luxury of "pepper spray" and "rubber bullets." These young law-breakers live to see the inside of a jail cell (probably not a prison cell, at least not on the first or second offense) and are given the opportunity to straighten out their lives. Not so much with young, unarmed, men of color.

The statistics clearly indicate there is little to no value on the life of an African American male in America.

This is not going to be a popular statement to make but that's the style of taskeinc, to go against the collective grain in an attempt to get people to think; to use a portion of the 22-billion brain cells that are a part of our biological makeup.

The plight that we find ourselves in today is primarily our fault. Yes, Black America's fault!

Why?

As long as we continue to cling to archaic rhetoric and medieval fairy tales, based on a "Savior coming out of the clouds" to rescue those who are "saved", our aggregate ignorance will perpetually keep us in the dark. The divide and conquer strategy, along with religion, war and politics. The United States Federal Reserve and Central Banks across the globe, also contribute to the separation. This group of nefarious men control the money supply and are able to manipulate and dupe 7.5 billion people on this planet.

The late astrophysicist Carl Sagan stated, when discussing the immensity of our universe stated, "In all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves."

Philosopher, Astronomer, and Mathematician, Giordano Bruno was burned alive in February 1600 by the Church because he refused to recant his scientific, telescopic findings that planet Earth was not the center of the universe and there were other inhabited worlds with living, thinking beings.

Bruno stated:

"
It is proof of a base and low mind for one to wish to think with the masses or majority, merely because the majority is the majority. Truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority of the people."

In other words, the fact that there are 2.5 billion Christians and approximately 1.8 billion Muslims (another religion that is just as vile and despicable as Christianity) has no bearing on the actuality that both religions were founded on utter nonsense and put in place to control the minds of its converts/believers.

The more you investigate and study for yourself, you'll stop believing those outlandish fairy tales. The 40 or so authors of the Bible thought the world was flat; thought the Earth was the center of the universe; had no knowledge of dinosaurs; and were benighted about planet Earth's Neogene Period (which took place about 23 million years ago).

The authors of the Bible don't even broach the subject of the Earth being formed approximately 4.5  billion years ago. Nor do they mention the fact that humans have inhabited planet Earth for at least 190,000 years. According to various "holy books," including the Bible, Adam and Eve, and "God creating the universe in 7 days," all took place around 4004 BC.

Before you fundamentalist believers start with your ad hominem attacks, cherry picking, fallacious reasoning, and "God of the Gaps" theories, on whether or not the Bible defines a day as 24 hours, here's what the protagonist of the Christian story says about the length of a day:

John 11:9, "Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world."

We can extrapolate from this statement, purported to be from Jesus himself, that there are twelve hours in a day and the other twelve hours would be evening and night. Translation: one day is the equivalent of 24 hours. Therefore, it does not matter how often, or how many sacrosanct buffoons continue to try to fit that square peg into the ecclesiastical round hole, it will never fit.

The largest slave trade in the history of the world was created by Christian European nations. This is a religion that was forced on the ancestors of today's African Americans.

From www.worldfuturefund.org, "Before the Civil War, the majority of evangelical Christians were totally convinced that 'their personal relationship with Jesus Christ' authorized them to own slaves." Furthermore, there are myriad Bible scriptures that defend and support slavery.

Think for a moment about what you are doing. You are worshiping, following, supporting and financing, the very same religion used to enslave your ancestors; the same horrific religion used to subjugate and demoralize an entire race of people. The same malevolent religion used to rape and prostitute your great-great-great grandmothers. The same sinister cabal that traded your forefathers and foremothers from one slaveowner to the next; breaking up families in the process.

Centuries later, the majority of African Americans still support this evil evangelical enterprise, based on a myth, promoted by an accomplished motivational speaker - your pastor - while he dupes you out of your hard-earned cash. Sadly, we even have idiots who insist that Jesus was black and that the "chosen people" are black. It would not matter if they were green or blue, it's still a myth based on a Roman story. It didn't happen!

This is why our sons are being murdered with little to no consequences for the perpetrator. Even if a black man kills another black man, he might get a 3-year prison sentence, if that.

The apocryphal apologue of Jesus Christ was beat into our ancestors, so they had an excuse. Two-hundred years of ancestral brainwashing and religious conditioning, black folks are still intellectually, spiritually, and conscientiously trapped in a 2000-year-old fable. An allegory that, if you study pre-Christian cultures, will clearly disclose the origins of the colossal fabrication called Christianity.

The plight that we find ourselves in today is our fault because of our ignorance and buffoonery when it comes to matters of true spirituality and our refusal to educate ourselves about those in power who hold the purse strings. We're so engulfed in medieval folklore, we don't care to do independent research because we're waiting on Jesus to return so he can get rid of all the 'bad people'. You may as well be waiting for Horus, Mythras, and Dionysus too, because those mythological deities are supposed to return before the plagiarized Jesus character.

Until we wake up, we will never be respected as a race. We don't have adoration for ourselves, so how can we expect others to respect us.
