Healers, Hoaxes, and Holy Reckoning

In an era where truth has become increasingly difficult to distinguish from manipulation, we find ourselves at a crossroad of health, history, and humanity’s hunger for liberation. The COVID-19 pandemic, cloaked in uncertainty and fear, was not merely a biological crisis...it became a litmus test for societal integrity, systemic trust, and the spiritual stamina of a people long betrayed. For many, particularly Black Americans, skepticism is not born of paranoia but of painful, documented experience. And as the dust settles from the pandemic, we are called once more to interrogate the institutions, motives, and money trails that shape our reality.

We would be wise not to forget that America has long been a master of duplicity. The same nation that declared itself the leader in managing a global pandemic also happens to be the architect of some of the most grotesque human experiments in modern history. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study (an open wound in the soul of this country) is a permanent reminder that Black bodies have often been used as pawns in white-coated games of power. Promises of care masked systematic neglect. Healing was withheld in the name of science. That was not so long ago. And though the names have changed, the instruments refined, and the rhetoric softened, the song remains eerily the same.

In that context, it should surprise no one when a Black man in America casts a wary eye at a government-issued vaccine. When the descendants of plantation doctors and political profiteers say “trust us,” history offers a thousand reasons not to. From Reconstruction to the mass incarcerations of today, this nation has consistently tried to contain, commodify, or eliminate its African American population. The corrupt scaffolding hasn’t vanished...it’s merely been digitized, globalized, and draped in medical garb.

As wealth continues to consolidate into the hands of a few, we are witnessing what may be the most significant transfer of economic power since the industrial age. The heirs of war-time fortunes...those whose ancestors once toasted on Jekyll Island and whispered of global domination...now inherit trillions. That wealth will not trickle down. It will rise and replicate itself, compounding interest in its own image, leaving the rest of us to fight over breadcrumbs and propaganda. In this gilded age of algorithms and AI, capital begets capital, while poverty remains a generational sentence.

This economic injustice is not accidental. It is the inevitable result of a system engineered for profit, not people. The Federal Reserve (an institution so untouchable that even Presidents are barred from its meetings) functions more like a cathedral of the elite than a servant of the common good. It prints and pumps, inflates and inflames, until the dollar becomes both the weapon and the wound. History has shown us what happens next: when money becomes fiction, dictators become fact. Hitler’s rise was inked in the pages of economic despair, paid for with the invisible currency of hyperinflation.

King warned us in 1968 that America needed a "revolution of values"... a fundamental reevaluation of how we view life, labor, and love. He saw that militarism, materialism, and racism were not isolated evils but interwoven threads strangling the soul of the nation. His prophetic vision was not simply about war or sanitation workers...it was a diagnosis of a sick society, addicted to violence, inequality, and greed. Sadly, that diagnosis remains unchanged.

Economically, we live under a tyranny of first principles flipped inside out. Inflation is not just an economic measure...it’s a form of theft. A con job, conducted by those with the power to print wealth from nothing while the working class pays the interest with their sweat. Fiat currency, detached from reality, has become the poison that cycles through the veins of the global economy. And yet, as civilizations collapse under the weight of their own monetary illusions, digital currencies like Bitcoin emerge as a counter-revolution...a lifeline in the storm.

Spiritually, we’ve also been lied to. Religion has become a coping mechanism for the poor and a cash cow for the wealthy. Fear of death has been monetized and moralized, turning churches into corporations and faith into fodder for control. But in truth, death is not the enemy. It is the door back to source. The soul, unburdened by flesh and sorrow, returns to light. Our ancestors whisper that the next world is free of corruption, hatred, and deceit. It is we, the living, who suffer under those illusions. We mourn the transition because we misunderstand it.

Which brings us to the most controversial assertion: maybe, just maybe, the vaccine was never solely about public health. Maybe it was about control. About data. About money. About keeping alive a fear so deep, so paralyzing, that it became more viral than the virus itself. But if no one gets out alive...if death is merely a return, a transformation...then why weaponize it against each other?

The hour is late, and the veil is thinning. It is time to awaken from this long sleep of submission and reclaim our agency. Not with violence, but with vision. Not with fear, but with faith...not the blind faith of dogma, but the awakened faith of those who have seen through the lies and choose to build a new world anyway.

For behind the curtain, there are indeed a few hundred men orchestrating the suffering of billions. But their power is not inevitable. It is inherited, inflated, and fragile. When we finally remember who we are (divine, sovereign, eternal beings) they will tremble. And the fire next time will not consume us. It will illuminate the path to our collective liberation.
