"He was [the] Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him, for he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day."

The brief passage above is the only literature related to the existence of Jesus (excluding the plagiarized Bible). In the antediluvian non-Christian library, consisting of the works of dozens of historians, writers, philosophers, politicians and others, there is no mention of Jesus Christ, and these individuals lived contemporaneously with or shortly after the mythical messiahs' purported life.
And what about the return of Jesus?
The more you investigate and study for yourself, you'll stop believing those outlandish medieval tales. Remember, the authors of the bible thought the world was flat, thought the Earth was the center of the universe, had no knowledge of dinosaurs, and were completely unaware of our planet's Neogene Period (which took place about 23 million years ago). The authors of the bible do not mention the fact that the Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago, and that humans have walked the Earth for at least 190,000 years, possibly longer.
Also, why would the Church eliminate or silence great minds such as Galileo Galilei - sentenced to house arrest for the remainder of his life and all his books and writings were banned; Giordano Bruno - burned alive. These astronomers were silenced because their telescopic findings and research disagreed with the primitive Christian holy book. Why? To keep people under the control of the church. And who knew the Church would still have such control over simple-minded people 414 years later.
