Queens and Kings

The phrase "Black Queen" is often quoted, misquoted, used loosely, and incorrectly bestowed on a woman, simply because she's black.

We all know some sistahs with stank attitudes... We all know some sistahs that harbor evil intentions... We all know a few sistahs with a low IQ and can't articulate or write a complete sentence...

We may know a few sistahs who didn't graduate HS...

We all know some sistahs who are habitual liars... We may even know some incarcerated sistahs...

None of the aforementioned character traits make her less of a person.. but they damn sure disqualify her from wearing the "Queen" moniker!

Michelle Obama is a Black Queen; Oprah may be considered a Black Queen; Madam C.J. Walker; Kamala Harris, Kesia Lance Bottoms, Stacey Abrams, Michelle Alexander, my late-mom, my daughter, and myriad other STRONG, ARTICULATE, INTELLIGENT #BLACKWOMEN are QUEENS.

We cannot haphazardly assign "Queen" to all black women... just as we can't call every black man a "King" ... some of these brothas ain't SHYT... and you know this!
