I watched comedian and Radio Personality Ricky Smiley's 40 min video. He makes some valid points but his anger, while understood, is misguided, and here's why (see link to the video at the end of this article):
- We cannot and should not live our lives in fear.
- A high GPA does not make young folks immune to the horrors that have occurred and will continue to occur in this life.
- What Smiley is venting about, the same things happened when we were coming up, and I'm not sure if the violence has increased or decreased.We're all sick of gun violence so our fight, our dollars should be spent to ban the NRA... good luck with that.
- White people kill white people too, and at a much larger rate considering they are 60+ percent of the US population and black folks make up 13 percent.
- Shit happens, good people die every day... it's just the way of our world.
One thing, however, that I know for certain (from studying metaphysical concepts and NDEs*) is that, within moments of a soul exiting his or her host (the body), they're thrilled to be returning home.
Regardless of where their earthly - human - life was headed, if given the choice, would not return to this awful planet, not even for Jeff Bezos money.
Lastly, if you've ever had a 'spirit visitation' from a dearly departed (usually in the form of a dream - a nocturnal visit while your mind is at rest), the message they want to convey is simple... "I'm OK."
