Invest in Us or Step Aside

White America continues to show its fear... tiptoeing around a man who has undermined democracy at every turn. Even when confronted with facts, Donald Trump shrugs them off while his enablers fall silent or worse, retreat behind half-hearted fact-checks and appeasing gestures. The truth is, too many in this country... especially those with power... are paralyzed by cowardice. It’s not just fear of Trump; it’s fear of losing the privilege, the dominance, the illusion of control that white America has clung to for generations.

Let’s be clear: white America has no modern-day Malcolms, no Kings, no Harriets or Fannie Lou Hamers willing to sacrifice comfort for truth and justice. Your "resistance" is weak... confined to tweets, posts, and the false bravery of likes and shares. Since 1947, any real attempt at challenging the system has been sterilized by corporate convenience or political calculation. Meanwhile, Black Americans have continued to fight, to build, to resist... not just online, but in the streets, in courtrooms, in classrooms, and in their communities.

So if you're serious about change... if you’re truly awake to the danger... you wouldn’t waste time trying to save a system that was never built for us. You’d invest directly in Black America. Invest in Black-owned businesses, in Black educators, Black farmers, Black-led tech, art, and justice movements. Fund the dreams that white America refused to nurture. Elevate the neighborhoods you once redlined. Support the youth you’ve criminalized. Rebuild what this nation systematically destroyed.

And how convenient it all is... expressing outrage from the comfort of your front porch or the safety of your curated social media bubble. Meanwhile, Trump has tightened his grip on Congress, the Senate, and effectively dismantled the system of checks and balances that once gave the illusion of accountability. And let’s be honest: do you really believe MAGA, Trump, or the Republican Party are watching your TikToks or scrolling through your Instagram posts? Of course not. Those videos aren’t acts of resistance... they’re exercises in self-soothing. If white America is truly fed up, then stop performing and mobilize. You need your own March on Washington... not a virtual one, but a real, physical, unapologetic stand against authoritarianism. Because at this point, all you’re doing is appeasing yourselves while the rest of us are left to fight for survival.

No more begging for allies. No more waiting for courage that clearly isn’t coming. The future will not be won through hashtags and shallow gestures. It will be secured through economic self-determination and unapologetic investment in our own. If you can't march beside us, then stand aside while we build. Because Black America isn’t asking for permission anymore... we’re demanding power. And we will not wait for you to grow a spine to do it.
