Karma, as defined across spiritual and philosophical traditions, refers to the ethical imprint of our actions. It is not punishment, but rather the inevitable result of the energy we put into the world. Every thought, every deed, every intention becomes a thread in the fabric of our future... sometimes immediate, sometimes stretching into lifetimes ahead. Whether one believes in reincarnation or not is irrelevant to the principle itself. As the late author P.M.H. Atwater noted, "somewhere there is always life." Existence doesn’t terminate with physical death. What we call the afterlife is not a void but a more vibrant plane, one that holds us accountable through the lessons we’ve either embraced or ignored.
The soul, in its essence, is not tethered to ideology, ego, or fear. It seeks growth, maturity, and ultimately - love. Our human experience is not an end in itself but a vehicle for this evolution. When hatred, racism, or xenophobia become the guiding forces of our behavior, we diverge from our soul’s purpose. Unconditional love is not just a lofty ideal; it is the very foundation of spiritual advancement. To harbor contempt for others because of race, origin, or belief is to stunt the soul’s journey and ensure its return to similar earthly experiences until it learns the essential truth: all that truly exists is love.
This is not about religion. It’s about spiritual accountability. To invest in a movement fueled by fear, deceit, and cruelty is to invest in one's own regression. We are not here to dominate others or protect false power; we are here to remember who we are beneath the noise... to become fully human by becoming more deeply spiritual.
History may record the political damage of Trumpism, but the soul records something far more enduring. We will all answer, in one way or another, for the energies we choose to support. The question is not whether justice will come, but when, and in what form.
