Beware of Christians

People ask, "Why are you so critical of Christianity; why not just let religious fundamentalist be? The question can be answered with a similar question. As a Christian, what is your responsibility to your faith?" Why do you feel the need to promote your gospel?

Allow me to answer the question for you? The scripture below is where missionaries and religious zealots get the notion that what they are doing is ethically and morally acceptable.

• Matthew 28:18-20

"Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

There it is, written in their holy book, a Christians undeniable truth in why they are obligated to "spread the word."

When the Bible is challenged, Christians fall back on biblical prophecy in an attempt to illustrate the divination of their holy book. Truth be told, it is a book that is replete with plagiarized accounts, straight from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. 

Libraries are full of Greek fables, mythology, origin and creation myths. Yet somehow, the Bible has acquired an enormous privileged position. This acquisition of literary, psychological, political, and financial power spawned from macabre events such as the Crusades, the Inquisition, censoring erudite individuals whose findings contradicted the Church and the Bible, and deeming non-believers as witches (burning at the stake was the primary fate of accused witches).

In heresy cases dating from the 14th to the 18th centuries, torture was sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church and became a common practice in many European countries. Some means of torture included burning, beating, suffocating and impaling.

• Breast Ripper

"The name of this device speaks for itself. Women condemned of heresy, blasphemy, adultery, and witchcraft often felt the wrath of this device as it violently tore a breast from their torso."

• Burning Iron Chair

"Consisted of sharpened iron nails that could be heated red hot from below. The victim would be bound and then slowly roasted in the open air as the coals heated the iron."

• Heretics Fork

"This instrument consisted of two little forks one set against the other, with the four prongs plunged into the flesh, under the chin and above the chest, with hands secured firmly behind their backs. A small collar supported the instrument in such a manner that the victims were usually forced to hold their head erect, thus preventing any movement."

• The Pear

"The pear was a torture device used on females. This device was inserted into the vagina, or mouth of the victim and then expanded by force of the screw to the maximum aperture setting of the victims cavity. The antrum would then irremediably become lacerated, nearly always fatally, ripping the tissue, flesh and membranes."

• The Rack

"The Rack was an instrument of torture often used in the Middle Ages, and a popular means of extricating confession. The victim was tied across a board by their ankles and wrists, rollers at either end of the board were turned by pulling the body in opposite directions until dislocation of every joint occurred."

• The Stocks

"With their feet in the stocks, two pieces of timber clamped together, over and under, both across each leg above the ankles. The soles of their feet then having been greased with lard, a blazing brazier was applied to them, and they were first blistered and then fried. At intervals a board was interposed between the fire and their feet and removed once they disobeyed the command to confess themselves of guilt for which they had been charged."

• The Wheel

"The wheel was one of the most popular and insidious methods of torture and execution practiced. The giant spiked wheel was able to break bodies as it rolled forward, causing the most agonizing and drawn-out death. Other forms include the "braided" wheel, where the victim would be tied to the execution dock or platform. Their limbs were spread and tied to stakes or iron rings on the ground. Slices of wood were placed under the main joints, wrists, ankles, knees, hips, and elbows. The executioner would then smash every joint with the iron-tyred edge of the wheel--however the executioner would avoid fatal blows to give the victim a painful death."

• Water Torture

"The victim's nostrils were pinched shut, and eight quarts of fluid were poured down the victim's throat through a funnel. Other techniques included forcing a cloth down the throat, while pouring water, which made a swallowing reflex pushing it further down into the stomach producing all the agonies of suffocation by drowning until the victim lost consciousness. Instead of water, the torture was sometimes conducted with boiling water or vinegar." "Death occurs from distention or rupturing of the stomach. One of the many cases recorded by the Inquisition, was in 1598 concerning a captured man, who was accused of being a werewolf and possessed by a demon while in prison."

There were several more methods of torture, including "The Impaler" a device made infamous by Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431–1477), posthumously dubbed "Vlad the Impaler."

According to Wikipedia, "his father, Vlad II Dracul, was a member of the Order of the Dragon, founded to protect Christianity in Eastern Europe."

During his lifetime, his reputation for excessive cruelty spread abroad, to Germany and elsewhere in Europe. The name of the vampire Count Dracula in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula was inspired by Vlad II Dracul and his son Vlad III or "Vlad the Impaler."

Those who ordained these horrific punishments were top level members of the clergy. These men operated at a level of evil that would make Charles Manson look like a girl scout. How can any sane individual allow anyone to be subjected to this type of unspeakable punishment?

The Roman Catholic Church has not changed; they've offered no apologies. The Bible has not changed; it's the same book that ordered adherents to stone homosexuals, that condones slavery, killing of children, and treating women as property. Contemporary Christians are desperately trying to muddle the meanings of the more illogical, atrocious scriptures but their attempts are falling on deaf ears. The jig is up. More and more people are beginning to realize that Christianity is a farce; that it is the fraud of the age.

Check out the scriptures listed below. If you wrote something similar today, the author would be committed to an insane asylum or jailed.

• Deuteronomy 20:10-18 .. "If people allow you to take over the town they will be forced into labor, if they don't surrender peacefully, kill ever man in the town but keep women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the Lord God has given you (this includes doing whatever you wish to the women, specifically the virgins).
• Numbers 31:7-18 .. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."
• Deuteronomy 21:18-21 .. This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard." "And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die."
• Leviticus 20:13 .. "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
• Ezekiel 4:12-15 .. "Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley bread; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel." 13 The Lord said, "In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them."
• Genesis 22:9-10 .. "And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him upon the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son."
• Exodus 12:29-30 .. "And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of the cattle.
• Judges 18:27 .. Then they took what Micah had made, and his priest, and went on to Laish, against a peaceful and unsuspecting people. They attacked them with the sword and burned down their city.

To my African American brothers and sisters, if you have read this far and don't think twice about identifying with Christianity, you're a fool. Sorry to be so blunt, but you are. Why? Because this is the exact same religion used to enslave your ancestors. A slave was severely punished and even put to death in many cases, if he was caught reading or learning to read. Why do you think slave-owners did not want slaves to read? Slave Masters knew that reading provided the key to physical and mental freedom.

Astonishingly, 200 years later, African Americans who subscribe to Christianity are keeping themselves in perpetual psychological and spiritual bondage. You're foolishly waiting on Jesus to return, just as the slaves did, after they were brainwashed and forced to accept Christianity.

Do you not get this? Is your mind that far gone? Have you been programmed and conditioned to the point that you cannot see the forest for the trees?

Study the stars that you see at night. Research the true origin of the universe. Study the cycles of carbon, water, and nitrogen. Somewhere along the way, the light will come on and you will find an escape from hereditary darkness.
