Emmett and Carolyn

Supposedly in 2004, C. B. Donham admitted on "60 Minutes" to lying about Till accosting her in 1955. She's now 84, the "investigation" is still on-going but they say the hold up is that most witnesses have died. But, if there was a confession to lying you would think that would be enough. They'll never incarcerate an 84-year-old white woman... even if they did, she'd die within a week.

Byron De La Beckwith was finally convicted of shooting (in the back) and killing Medgar Evers - after boasting about it for 30 years - Aug 1, 1975 he was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Murder... He was paroled in Jan 1980.. He died on Jan 21, 2002 at 80 yrs of age...

Donham lied, she's a white octogenarian female, if she were convicted, she'd probably - at worst - be placed under house arrest for a couple years..

The spirit of Emmett Till may have already incarnated into another life... or, his spirit may be still chilling on the "other side" ... and certainly wouldn't buy into the "eye for an eye" human construct.
